Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: Fans of superstar Anubhav Mohanty received a special surprise during the release of his Raja festival film Chhaki Suna, as the makers unveiled the first glimpse of his much-awaited upcoming project, Raavan, exclusively in theatres.
The teaser, screened alongside Chhaki Suna, marked the first official look at Raavan and generated excitement among moviegoers attending the film’s opening shows. The makers promoted the reveal with the message: “The wait is over. The big screen awaits,” urging audiences to experience the film’s “raw intensity” in cinemas rather than on mobile screens.
The announcement described Raavan as “a journey chosen by fate, not by blood,” while encouraging viewers to book tickets for Chhaki Suna to be among the first to witness the much-anticipated glimpse.
Meanwhile, Chhaki Suna, starring Anubhav Mohanty in the lead role, has opened to an enthusiastic response during the Raja festival season. The film’s premiere was held at Vrundaban Cinema Hall in Cuttack, where hundreds of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor. The festive release has generated considerable buzz among Odia cinema lovers.
Produced by 29 to Nine Films in association with Amar Studio and SM Entertainment, Chhaki Suna is directed by Manas Padhihari, who has also penned the story. The film is produced by Jagruti, Anubhav Mohanty, Shubham Mohanty and Naveen Bhandari, while Pranaya Jethi serves as the Creative Head and leads the promotional campaign.
The film also features Sambhabana Mohanty, Abhishek Panda, Divya Mohanty, Chaudhury Jayaprakash Das, Sukumar Tudu, Sukanta Rath, Nitu Singh, Bijini Mishra, Udit Guru, Tapas Sargharia, Jitu Mangaraj, Bindu, Raka, Dipu and Sujit in key roles.
With Chhaki Suna drawing audiences to theatres and the surprise unveiling of Raavan adding to the excitement, Anubhav Mohanty’s fans appear set for a double celebration this Raja season.
