Berhampur: The team of the newly released Odia film Diary, which hit theatres during the Raja festive season, received a rousing welcome in Berhampur as hundreds of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of actor-producer Ardhendu Sahu.

The excitement among moviegoers was so overwhelming that several roads in the city witnessed huge crowds. As Berhampur is Ardhendu’s hometown, the enthusiasm of local fans was particularly evident. The actor’s popularity and the strong public response are being seen as a positive sign for the film’s Raja box-office prospects.
Known for delivering action, romance and family entertainers, Ardhendu has this time presented audiences with a unique triangular love story.
The film features experienced actress Jasmine Rath and newcomer Pragyan Mishra in lead roles alongside him.
Ardhendu’s films have often been associated with chartbuster songs, and Diary appears to continue that tradition. The film’s music has been composed by Somesh Satpathy, while choreography by Amit Nayak and the duo Lubun-Tubun has added visual appeal to the songs.
Produced under the Adilaxmi Entertainment banner with support from co-producer Adikanda Sahu, the film has been directed by popular filmmaker Sushant Mani. The story and dialogues have been penned by veteran writer Kuna Tripathy, while cinematography has been handled by Sitanshu Mahapatra.
The film’s promotional campaign is being managed by Pranay Jethi. Music label amaramuzik is the audio partner, while aaonxt is the OTT partner.
With a strong cast, popular music and encouraging audience response, Diary is expected to emerge as one of the major attractions of this year’s Raja movie season.
