Anubhav Mohanty and Jagrati Shukla Begin a New Chapter of Parenthood

Bhubaneswar: Odia actor and politician Anubhav Mohanty and his wife, Jagrati Shukla, are set to embark on a new chapter of their lives as they look forward to the journey of parenthood.

Sharing the news through a heartfelt message, the couple expressed gratitude for the love, prayers and blessings they have received and sought continued affection and good wishes as they begin this precious journey together.

The announcement marks a significant personal milestone for the couple, who have also worked together in the Odia film industry.

Mohanty married Jagrati in 2025, following his divorce from actress Varsha Priyadarshini, which was granted by the Orissa High Court in December 2023.

Jagruti has been associated with Odia cinema as a producer and writer. She worked on Raavan and Chhaki Suna: No Escape, both featuring Mohanty. The latter is a suspense thriller that adds to the actor’s recent filmography.

Mohanty, a prominent name in Odia cinema, has continued to pursue film projects alongside his political career. His recent releases include Charidham – A Journey Within (2025) and Chhaki Suna: No Escape (2026).
