Odisha’s Khirabdhi Pattnayak Wins Second Runner-Up Title at The Global Crown 2026

Bhubaneswar: Khirabdhi Pattnayak from Odisha has been crowned the second runner-up at The Global Crown 2026, a beauty pageant organised by Anonymous Films and K.F.T.I.

A felicitation programme was organised at a private hotel in Bhubaneswar to celebrate her achievement. Tapan Dash, head of Anish Entertainment, the Odisha organising partner; Pranaya Jethi, managing director of Media Planner; Sachikanta Jena, producer of Moon TV Movies, which supported the pageant; and Khirabdhi’s mother, Ritu Mohanty, attended the event.

Khirabdhi’s achievement has drawn appreciation and congratulatory messages from well-wishers..The pageant was organised by Payal Mukherjee, founder of Kolkata-based Anonymous Films, and Rubiya Banerjee, director of K.F.T.I.

A total of 50 contestants were selected through auditions conducted at the international level, including 25 contestants in the Miss category and 25 in the Mistress category. A six-day workshop was held in Kolkata from October 1 to 6 for the selected participants.

Of the 50 contestants, 30 advanced to the semi-finals. The grand finale was held at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata on October 8.
Celebrity jury member Nayanika Chatterjee and other prominent personalities from the fashion and film industries were part of the judging panel. Khirabdhi was declared the second runner-up and crowned at the grand finale.

The Odisha organising team, comprising Tapan Dash, Pranaya Jethi and Sachikanta Jena, said the event provided a platform for several talents from the state to gain exposure and valuable experience. The opportunity, they noted, would help participants develop their skills and pursue further opportunities in the future.
