Trailer of Odia Film Shikar Released; Set for Grand Raja Release on June 12

Bhubaneswar: The trailer of the much-awaited Odia film Shikar has been officially released, building excitement ahead of its theatrical release during the Raja festival on June 12.

The trailer was unveiled at the Bhubaneswar Press Club in the presence of producer Sachikanta Jena, director Mrutyunjaya Sahu, story-screenplay-dialogue writer and lyricist Priyabrata Panda, lead actor Amlan Das, actress Elina Samantaray, and actor Ankit, among others.

Produced under the Moon TV Movies banner, Shikar is a crime-action thriller that promises a blend of suspense, gripping storytelling, and high-octane action sequences. The makers expressed confidence that the film will provide wholesome entertainment to audiences during the festive Raja season, traditionally considered one of the most important periods for Odia cinema.

The production house believes that the film’s mix of crime, action, and thriller elements will appeal to viewers across all age groups. The movie boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring action star Amlan Das, popular actress Elina Samantaray, Supriya, and Ankit in key roles.

The film’s promotional campaign is being handled by media planner and Creative Head Pranaya Jethi. Veteran cinematographer Pratap Rout has overseen the film’s cinematography, while Rajesh Das has handled editing. Music has been composed by trending music director Baidyanath Dash, and choreography has been directed by Amit Nayak.

According to the makers, Amlan’s action-packed performance and Elina’s portrayal of a lawyer are expected to be major highlights of the film. Directed by Mrutyunjaya Sahu, Shikar is being positioned as a complete entertainer for Raja audiences and is expected to be one of the notable Odia releases of the festive season.
