Bhubaneswar: As Odisha gears up for the vibrant Raja festival, a special musical offering is set to add to the festive spirit. Titled “Eh Nonni”, the Raja-themed song will be released on June 10 under the India Independent (II Music) label.
The song brings together a talented team featuring singer-composer Vaibhav Pani, actress-singer Prakruti Mishra, and musician Biswajit Mahapatra. The project aims to celebrate the essence of Raja, one of Odisha’s most cherished festivals that honors womanhood, fertility, and the arrival of the monsoon.
Sharing the announcement on social media, Vaibhav Pani said the song is an effort to take Odisha’s rich cultural heritage to a global audience. He described Raja as a unique festival that celebrates women in all their glory and expressed hope that the song would resonate with listeners across generations.
With colorful visuals, traditional Odia flavors, and a contemporary musical touch, “Eh Nonni” is expected to capture the festive mood of Raja and connect young audiences with the state’s cultural traditions
