Title Of New Odia Movie ‘Kanatarati Announced

Bhubaneswar: SM Entertainment and Amara Studios first venture title was announced at city hotel Monday.

The movie titled Kanatarati: The Contractor is directed by Ramesh Rout and produced by Shrabani Patnaik. The thriller genre movie tells the story of a serial killer. Director Ramesh Rout had directed more than 27 movies that include Godfather, Chand Na tame Tara, Kabula Barabula,, Tora Mora Katti and others.

The film will star Devesh Ranjan, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Tapas Sargharia and others in important roles. The story is written by director Ramesh Rout while screenplay is written by Rout and Nishant Majhitia. The music is composed by Abhijit Majumdar.

The title announcement event was attended by producer Srabani Patnaik, director Ramesh Rout, actress Suryamayee Mohapatra, music director Abhijt Majumdar, singer Antara Chakraborty, Jyotirmayee and others .
