Title Announcement of Odia Film ‘Chakranta’ Held in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The title announcement ceremony for the upcoming Odia film Chakranta took place at a private hotel in Bhubaneswar.

Produced by Sourav Padhi under the Lakeshwar Production banner, the film is directed by Pinu Nayak, with the story written by Disha Padhi and dialogues penned by Jitendra Kumar Baral. The lyrics for the film were written by Dr. Nirmal Nayak and Dr. Raghunath Sahu, while Abhijit Mazumdar composed the music.

The cast includes Subashish Sharma and Bhoomikaa Das in the lead roles, alongside Harihar Mahapatra, Chaudhary Jayaprakash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Dharitri Khandual, Suravi, Soumya Satpathy, Shubham Padhi, Suman Mohanty, Kusum Tripathi, Pramod Raut, Tushar, Umakant, Niranjan Nirua, Puntatoya Mishra, and Krishna Rani Das in significant roles.

*Chakranta* explores the lives of young people living away from their families in cities for studies and work. The narrative delves into how they sometimes lose their way, and it portrays the misunderstandings that arise when families believe their children are doing well, only to later discover they’ve fallen into tragic situations.
