Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar has added a new landmark to its growing health and fitness sector with the launch of Bharat Fitness Den Enhanced, a premium fitness centre equipped with international-standard facilities and advanced workout technology, near Airport Road.

Established by Kumar Bharat Bhushan Mahalik, the facility is spread across approximately 24,000 sq ft and is being projected as one of the largest premium fitness centres in eastern India. Following the success of its Jaydev Vihar branch, the new centre is the second and largest project of the fitness chain, Mahalik said.

The facility houses more than 150 state-of-the-art fitness equipment from internationally recognised brands, including Hoist, Panatta and Hammer Strength, offering equipment that meets American and Dubai fitness standards.

A major highlight of the centre is its specialised post-workout recovery and wellness facilities, introduced for the first time in Odisha, according to the organisers. These include red light therapy, infrared sauna, ice baths and hydro massage facilities.

The centre also has dedicated workout spaces for Hyrox training, cardio, Zumba and yoga, catering to different fitness interests and age groups.

The grand inauguration ceremony was attended by Bollywood actor and Mr World titleholder Thakur Anoop Singh, Mr India titleholder Narender Yadav and renowned Mumbai-based lifestyle coach Iqbal Syed as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Anoop Singh emphasised that fitness should not be limited to bodybuilders or professional athletes. He said maintaining physical fitness should become an essential part of everyday life for everyone, from teenagers aged 13 to people in their 60s, to help them achieve their best physical and mental well-being.

The organisers also felicitated trainers, athletes and housekeeping staff, acknowledging their contribution to the success of the institution.

With an aim to make fitness accessible to people from all sections of society, the centre has announced affordable annual membership plans along with special inaugural offers.

The launch marks another step towards promoting a fitness-oriented lifestyle in Odisha, with the centre seeking to offer not just modern gym facilities but also a comprehensive approach to exercise, wellness and physical recovery.
