Superstar Anubhav Mohanty is ‘in awe’ after watching Suryamayee Mohapatra starrer ‘Rangashoor’

Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Rangashoor, the Prakash Films and Moon TV Movies Production released in 60 cinema halls across the state on January 12.

Superstar Anubhav Mohanty watched the movie at Brundaban cinema hall in Cuttack and praised the performances of all stars especially of Suryamayee Mohapatra who is
Playing the role of a girl who wants to perform Bagha Nacha, a dying folk dance form, but faces objection from villagers and society who thinks that it can only be performed by men.

Mohanty said that Rangshoor movie is a good example of how a good movie can be made based on our own local folk dance and art form.

Mohanty appreciated the effort of producers and director for making the movie on Bagha nacha, a dying folk dance form. The movie is not only for entertainment but also had many educational messages for society.

Rangshoor is a movie which every Odia should watch he said. He opined that Odisha soil has many more stories of its own so in the coming days more films like Rangshoor should be made.

Along with Anubhav, producer Sachikant Jena, director Pratap Raut, actor Samaresh Routray, actresses Suryamayee Mohapatra,  Media planner and Creative Head Pranaya Jethi also watched the movie.

The movie Rangashoor stars Suryamayee Mohapatra, Chaudhury Jayprakash Das, Chaudhury Bikash Das, Samaresh Routray, Subhasish Sharma, Jyoti Ranjan and Dipanwit Das Mohapatra among others.

The movie is directed by Pratap Rout and produced by Sachikant Jena, Prashant Beura, Sunil Yadav and Pratap Rout.
