Makers of Dasama announce new Odia film Avisapta Rabana

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the acclaimed Odia film Dasama have unveiled the title of their next project, Avisapta Rabana. The title was officially announced recently at the holy shrine of Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Ashutosh Patnaik, the upcoming movie is produced by Deepak Kumar Jena. Co-producers of the film are Abhishek Asim Kumar and Tanmay Patra.

The cast features Smruti Ranjan Rath, Suman Patnaik and Upasana Bhadra Mohanty in key roles.

The makers have hinted at an intense storyline, carrying the tagline “Waiting for Death…”. The film is slated for a theatrical release in 2026, while further details about the project are expected to be revealed soon.
