Love in London makers extends a helping hand towards families of train mishap victims

Bhubaneswar: The makers of new Odia movie Love in London, the JB Films & TV and Amara Studios LLP, expressed their heartfelt grief and sympathy to the family members of the victims of the horrific and devastating Bahanaga Train Tragedy that took place on June 2 evening.
In a press meet at a city hotel on Thursday, the movie makers said, “This tragic incident has profoundly impacted us all, and we join in mourning the victims. Post discussions with the star of the movie superstar Anubhav Mohanty, we feel it is right to postpone the release of our upcoming film, “Love in London”, starring the super star of Odisha- Anubhav Mohanty, Swapna Priyadarshini, and Somya Sachdeva.”
This movie was initially slated for release on June 9th, 2023 However, as a mark of respect and soliditary, the makers have now moved the premiere to June 13th, 2023.
“We sincerely hope our audiences, Anubhav Mohanty fan clubs and everyone in Odisha understand and support this decision these challenging times. We have and will always continue to work in favour of what’s right, along with the artists and people of Odisha,” said Naveen Bhandari and J. Bharka, the producers of the film.
“We are delighted to know that the artists of this film are on the same page and thoughts as we are to delay the release of the film. We also thank the exhibitors and theatre owners to have understood this grave situation and support us in this step taken,” they said.
Additionally, we are making a commitment to support the affected victims families by contributing 10% of our profits from theatrical collection from the film “Love in London” to the Odisha Chief Minister Relief Fund, aimed at providing assistance towards the tragedy’s aftermath.
It is our confidence and hope that this contribution will provide some relief and aid in the healing and recovery process of those impacted by the tragedy, says Naveen Bhandari and J. Bharka, the producers of the film.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and everyone affected by this unfortunate event. We stand in solidarity with the community during this difficult time,” the film makers stated.
