“Fairy-like Charm, Mesmerising Presence”: Sushmita Introduced as Nisha in ‘Raavan’

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the much-anticipated Odia film Raavan have officially introduced actress Sushmita as Nisha, unveiling her character with the tagline: “Fairy-like charm. Mesmerising presence.”

The latest character reveal has further heightened excitement around the ambitious project, which has already been generating significant buzz in the Odia film industry. The makers shared the first look of Sushmita’s character, presenting her in a graceful and captivating avatar that has drawn attention from fans on social media.

The film shooting already begin in October 2025.

The movie is directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj and produced by Jagruti Mohanty and Himadri Tanaya Das under the banners of 29 Two Nine Films and Camera Queen Productions.

The film has also created massive anticipation after superstar Anubhav Mohanty was unveiled as Bheema with the powerful tagline, “When the storm awakens, kingdoms tremble.”

With back-to-back character reveals and growing curiosity among audiences, Raavan is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Odia films in recent times.
