“Fire in Her Eyes, A Fearless Warrior in Her Soul”: Suryamayee Introduced as Devika in ‘Raavan’

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia big-ticket film Raavan have officially unveiled actress Suryamayee as Devika, introducing her character with the striking tagline: “Fire in her eyes. A fearless warrior in her soul.”

Suryamayee’s fierce and intense first look has already generated excitement among fans, with many praising her powerful screen presence. The actress has been enjoying a strong phase in her career following her appearances in Kangula and Mantra Muugdha, the latter currently performing very well at the box office. She is also set to appear next in the upcoming project Dandankali.

Raavan has emerged as one of the most talked-about upcoming Odia films in recent months. The shooting of the movie begin in October Last year.

The movie is directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj and produced by Jagruti Mohanty and Himadri Tanaya Das under the banners of 29 Two Nine Films and Camera Queen Productions.

Earlier, the makers had also unveiled superstar Anubhav Mohanty as Bheema with the tagline, “When the storm awakens, kingdoms tremble,” while actress Sushmita was introduced as Nisha with the line, “Fairy-like charm. Mesmerising presence.”
With back-to-back character reveals and growing curiosity among audiences, Raavan is steadily shaping up as one of the most awaited Odia films in recent years.
