“When the Storm Awakens, Kingdoms Tremble”: Anubhav Mohanty Unveiled as Bheema in ‘Raavan’

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the much-awaited Odia film Raavan have officially unveiled superstar Anubhav Mohanty in a fierce new avatar as Bheema, heightening anticipation around one of the industry’s most ambitious upcoming projects.

The announcement came with the powerful tagline, “When the storm awakens, kingdoms tremble,” hinting at an intense and larger-than-life cinematic experience. The reveal has already created major buzz among Odia cinema fans and film circles.

Raavan had recently been in the headlines following the exit of filmmaker Anupam Patnaik from the project. However, the film is now firmly back on track, with shooting started in October 2025.

The movie is directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj and produced by Jagruti Mohanty and Himadri Tanaya Das under the banners of 29 Two Nine Films and Camera Queen Productions.

The unveiling of Anubhav as Bheema has reignited excitement surrounding the film, with audiences expecting a grand-scale action drama packed with powerful performances and high production value.
Meanwhile, Anubhav Mohanty is also set for a busy phase in his career, with multiple projects including Chhaki Suna set to be released on Raja.
