Anasmish Productions Announces Title of Epic Sequel ‘Ram Rajya’

Bhubaneswar: Anasmish Productions on Saturday announced their upcoming Odia film “Ram Rajya,” a sequel to the 2023 hit “Kakak Sesha Ru Aarambha.” This marks a historic moment in Odia cinema as “Ram Rajya” becomes the industry’s first-ever sequel.

In the official title announcement video, the makers introduced Prem Parijaa, a popular face from the web series Commando, who will be making his Odia film debut with this project.

Sharing the teaser, the production house said:
“Anasmish Productions is ready to announce its next epic. Get ready for the biggest action extravaganza Odisha has ever seen. A movie that creates its own legacy—becoming the first-ever Odia film sequel. A staggering star cast will be revealed following the announcement.”

Directed by Sudhansu Mohan Sahoo and produced by Kumar Pritam Sahoo, the film promises to take the legacy of the original to even greater heights, delivering an unmatched cinematic experience.

The original film, also helmed by Sudhansu Mohan Sahoo, featured an ensemble cast including Sidhant Mohapatra, Debasis Patra, Anu Choudhury, Poonam Mishra, and Chaudhary Bikash Das. It concluded with an intense cliffhanger—a city in chaos and the rightful heir yet to reclaim the throne—leaving fans eagerly awaiting the continuation.
