Padmalaya Nanda promotes Odia Culture at Dubai

Cuttack: Little Miss Universe Internet Padmalaya Nanda showed her swagger in traditional Sambalpuri attire at the 19th International Youth Convention held in Dubai.

She has been highly praised for this. Apart from this,she preached “Vasudheb Kutumbakam” and called the youths to act as peace & cultural ambasadors for establishment of peace in the world. She preached this message at the 19th International Youth Convention organized by Y’s Men International ( An organisation in Consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)).

The event took place at Dubai from November 5th to 10th, for exchange of ideas and brotherhood with the world youth community.77 Youth representatives who have achieved success in various fields from different countries participated in this youth convention.

In 2017, Padmalaya Nanda became the first Indian to become the Little Miss Universe internet in Georgia, Europe, and was highly praised for presenting the Indian as well as Odisha culture and Sambali dance. Now Padmalaya is a 3rd year student of the Department of Psychology at Revenshaw University. She is the eldest daughter of Odisha High Court lawyer Prasanna Kumar Nand and doctor Shubhasudha Priyadharsini.
