Family Comedy Drama ‘Motorcycle’ Set for World Television Premiere on Zee Sarthak on May 17

BHUBANESWAR: Popular Ollywood family comedy-drama Motorcycle is all set to entertain television audiences with its world television premiere on leading Odia entertainment channel Zee Sarthak on May 17 at 6:30 PM.

Directed by Ashwin Tripathy, the film presents a unique blend of love, ego, family conflict, and humour, all revolving around an ordinary motorcycle. The story explores the theme of “love versus greed” in an engaging and entertaining manner.

The plot follows Kelu, played by Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, and Kaveri, portrayed by Preeti Biswal, whose growing romance faces hurdles after Kelu’s father demands a motorcycle. The seemingly simple demand triggers a chain of family disputes, misunderstandings, and comic situations that drive the narrative forward.

The film had earlier received appreciation on the big screen, particularly for the comic timing of Kuna Tripathy and Jyoti’s performance. The music composed by Somesh Satpathy, along with lyrics by Dr. Nirmal Nayak, further adds vibrancy to the film.

Speaking about the premiere, Rahul Rao, Chief Channel Officer of Zee Sarthak, said the movie beautifully depicts how an ordinary motorcycle can become the centre of extraordinary entertainment. He added that the film showcases how a small demand can create emotional tension within relationships while also generating humour that audiences can easily relate to.
