‘Udyogi Odisha Conclave’ Focuses on State’s Development Vision and Industrial Growth
Bhubaneswar, May 9: The ‘Udyogi Odisha Conclave’ was organised on Saturday at Hotel Crystal Crown in Patia, Bhubaneswar, jointly by the Kalinga Educational and Charitable Trust (KECT), MBC TV, St. Xavier International school and others. The conclave witnessed extensive discussions on Odisha’s development trajectory and future growth prospects.
The programme featured deliberations on industry, education and healthcare, with experts from various sectors sharing their views on the present scenario and the measures required to build a developed Odisha. Speakers highlighted the importance of strengthening infrastructure, encouraging local production and creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state.
Addressing the gathering, Rural Development Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari and Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said the government’s primary focus is on building robust infrastructure and promoting entrepreneurship across Odisha. They stated that the government is moving ahead with appropriate policies and reforms to realise the vision of ‘Viksit Odisha 2036’ and ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
The ministers also emphasised that collective efforts would continue to transform Odisha into a leading industrial hub in the country.
Among the prominent dignitaries present at the conclave were Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Surama Padhy, Health and Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Nayagarh MLA Arun Kumar Sahoo, former minister and senior Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik, MBC TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Dr. Badrinath Pattnaik, and St. Xavier High School Chairperson Nivedita Pattnaik, along with several other distinguished guests.
On the occasion, eminent personalities from different fields were felicitated with the ‘Udyogi Odisha 2026’ awards in recognition of their contributions.
