Vijay Sethupathi to play lead in Mysskin’s next

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is earning much deserved accolades for his role as a no-nonsense narcotics cop Michael from the latest web series Farzi. Reports suggested that the actor has already finalized his next project. Apparently, the actor is all set to collaborate with director Mysskin on an interesting project, which will be bankrolled by the production house that was behind hit films like Asuran and Karnan.

A source close to the filmmaker confirms that the pre-production work of the film is presently underway, and the film will go on floors in the last week of May.

“Major portions of the film will be shot in and around Chennai,” the source added. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi will be making a special appearance in Mysskin’s Pisasu 2, which features Andrea in the lead. Reportedly, the actor plays the role of a doctor in the film. The post-production work is over, and the makers are waiting to finalise the release date.
