Trailer and music of Odia movie Dasama to release tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The trailer and music of new Odia youth centric movie Dasama will be released on Monday.

The trailer and music will be released at a special event at Hotel Lyfe Monday.

The movie directed by Raja D and presented by D Films Cine Productions and Shradhanjali Entertainment will release in cinema halls across the state on January 18, 2024.

Informing about the release of the music makers said “We are delighted to extend an exclusive invitation to you for the much-anticipated music release event of Odisha ‘s first musical film, Dasama Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with mesmerizing melodies, star-studded appearances, and also celebration of our superstar Babushaan Mohanty’s voice and your very own Team Dasama. Join us to know more”.

As per report Actor Babushasn had sung a song for the movie. There are more than 10 sings in the movie and the music direction is done by multiple talented music directors including Gourav Anand, Sandeep Panda, Preet Priya, Subhajit Binaya Rath, Anurag Patnaik and Subrat Behera.

Earlier, the makers informed about the release date in the social media saying” Hitting theatres this exam session on January 18. Let the preparation begins” The star cast of the movie including Sailendra Samantaray, director Raja D visited the Jagannath temple recently in Puri to take the Lord blessing.
The movie teaser was released on October 26. The movie is a nostalgic trip set in school said director Raja. The movie cast includes many new faces alongside talented and popular actor Shailendra Samantaray whose last movie Guddu Gangster was released during the Raja festival.

Director Raja D said that the movie is a youth centric movie set in a school. The time frame has been set in 2007. It talks about things experienced by youngsters during school days such as friendship, first love, education system of school etc. He added that all the people who were once a students would relate to it.

The movie is produced by Deepak Kumar Jena and co-produced by Shraddha Panigrahi. The music direction is done by Gourav Anand, Sandeep Panda, Preet Priya, Subhajit Binaya Rath, Anurag Patnaik and Subrat Behera. Dialogue and Screenplay is written by Kumarshree Sahoo
