Team Swag Raja Rolls the Camera with Grand Muhurat Ceremony

Bhubaneswar – The much-awaited Odia film Swag Raja officially went on floors with a grand muhurat ceremony attended by an array of stars, including popular actor Swaraj Barik, Swapna Priyadarsini, KK, and acclaimed filmmaker Jagdish Mishra.

Swaraj Barik, who was last seen in the romantic drama Khoka Bhai Tama Pai, is teaming up with Jagdish Mishra, the director behind the blockbuster Bou Buttu Bhuta, for this big-ticket project. The film, produced under the banners of Gurvvi Production and Sidharth Music, is backed by producers Sargam Tripathy and Sai Sanatan.

Swag Raja features a screenplay penned by Amit Kumar Dash and Pranab Prasanna Rath, while Gaurav Anand will compose the music, promising chart-topping numbers. Shooting has already begun, with the makers targeting a December 2025 theatrical release.
