Team ‘Dahaan’ Takes Promotional Campaign to Rourkela

Bhubaneswar: The promotional campaign for the upcoming Odia horror film Dahaan – The Evil Within reached Rourkela, with members of the film’s cast visiting educational institutions and interacting with fans ahead of its theatrical release on September 11.
Actor and producer Barsha Patnaik, along with actors Sanojj Kumar and Aurosikha Mishra, visited Municipal College, Rourkela, where they met and interacted with students. The visit drew enthusiastic participation from the students as the team spoke about the upcoming film and its journey to the big screen.
The Dahaan team later visited Plutone Mall, where the actors interacted with fans and promoted the film. The promotional appearances form part of the makers’ efforts to connect with audiences across Odisha ahead of the release.
Written and directed by Anupam Patnaik and produced by Barsha Patnaik and Anupam Patnaik, Dahaan – The Evil Within is one of the major upcoming Odia releases of the Ganesh Puja season.
The film features Barsha Patnaik, Aurosikha Mishra, Samrat Mohapatra, Partha Sarathi Ray, Choudhury JayPrakash Das, Nishant Majithia, Pranab Prasanna Rath, Navya Jaiti, Prasanjeet Mohapatra, Mohan Majithia, Debadutta Nanda and Amitabh Patra.
The horror feature has generated considerable buzz through its teaser, character reveals and music releases. It was also filmed extensively at the historic Killa Dalijoda, a nearly century-old former royal hunting lodge in Odisha, adding a distinctive atmosphere to the film’s supernatural narrative.
Dahaan – The Evil Within is all set to hit cinemas on September 11, 2026.
