Raavan’ Teaser to Release on September 5; Makers Announce Next Big Reveal

Bhubaneswar: The journey of the much-talked-about Odia film RAA’V’AN is set to enter an exciting new phase, with the makers announcing that the film’s official teaser will be released on September 5 on their YouTube channel.

Announcing the teaser launch, the makers said, “The theatres of Odisha gave RAA’V’AN their blessing. Now the journey continues.” The official teaser of RAA’V’AN — Chosen by Fate, Not by Blood is expected to offer audiences their first major glimpse into the world of the ambitious film.

The announcement has further heightened anticipation surrounding Raavan, which has emerged as one of the most talked-about upcoming Odia films. The makers have been steadily building curiosity through a series of striking character reveals.

Superstar Anubhav Mohanty has been introduced as Bheema, while Sushmita will be seen as Nisha and Suryamayee as the fierce Devika. The makers have also unveiled Chittaranjan Tripathy as Ratanlal, Sukumar Tudu as Kapila, and Jitendra Ketan Mangaraj as Dimba Kaka.

Raavan went on floors in October last year and has continued to generate buzz through its ambitious scale and ensemble cast.
The film is directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj and written by Jagruti A. Mohanty. It is produced by Jagruti Mohanty and Himadri Tanaya Das under the banners of 29 Two Nine Films and Camera Queen Productions.
Adding further significance to the project, the music of RAA’V’AN has been composed by the late Humane Sagar.
