Principal Photography for Raavan to Commence in May
Anubhav Mohanty and Anupam Patnaik to Reunite for 'Raavan'; Shoot Begins in May, Release Set for September 2025
Bhubaneswar: The shooting of the highly anticipated movie Raavan, which marks the reunion of director Anupam Patnaik and actor Anubhav Mohanty after their hit film Karma, is set to begin in May.
Following the success of Karma, the Anupam-Anubhav duo is collaborating once again on a film expected to delve deep into themes of power, vengeance, and destiny. Raavan is slated for release on September 26, 2025.
The film is being produced by Barsha Patnaik, Arpit Golecha, and Jagrati Shukla, who also wrote the story. The screenplay and dialogues are being handled by Manas Padhiary, Nishant Majithia, Jagrati Shukla, and Anupam Patnaik.
The search for the female lead has been completed, and the makers are expected to reveal her name soon.
Meanwhile, Anubhav Mohanty recently tied the knot with Jagrati Shukla, adding a personal milestone to their professional partnership. Director Anupam Patnaik is currently busy with the second season of Gangs of Puri, which recently began streaming on the Kanccha Lannka OTT platform.
