Music of Odia movie Pratha released with fanfare

The music of much awaited multi lingual movie Pratha released with fanfare at a special event in Bhubaneswar based DN Regalia Mall in the presence of the stars of the movie Sunday.

In the special event actor Swaraj Barik, director K Murali Krishna, Co-Producer Sanjay Kumar Patel, Music director Asad Nizam, Film Producer Sacchikanta Jena, Singer Krishna Beura, Antara Chakrabarty, Kuldeep Patnaik, Satyajit Pradhan, Aseema Panda, Navya Jaiti, actor Disco Reddy, Media Planner Pranay Jethi and others were present.

On the occasion thousands of fans of the star Swaraj Barik were also present. The Music album contains several beautiful and variety of songs including Shiv Tandav song sung by Krishna Beura.

The makers earlier had announced the movie will be released on on September 15 on the occasion of Ganesh Puja this year.

The movie got U/A certificate from the censor board.

The trailer of multilingual flick Pratha released by the makers recently . The trailer was released at a special event at Cinepolis Multiplex in the presence of star cast of the movie including actor Swaraj Barik, actress Simran Kaur, Bobby Mishra, director K Murali Krishna, producer Sanlisa Patel and others.

The trailer showcase the story set in the Lalaguda area in Koraput and revolved around the character of Swaraj, who is playing a character of Potharaju, a nomadic tribe known for wearing Haldi in the body and vermilion on his forehead and hitting themselves with the whip and entertaining people.

The trailer shows how his life turn upside down after some greedy people try to use the local resources of the village for their own selfish needs and that affected Swaraj and his family and how he copes with it ”

The movie will be released in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana later in addition to its release in Odisha.

The film showcases the story of an orthodox village in Odisha where following traditional culture is often sacrosanct. The reel life depicts how these age-old practices define the movie’s main characters. Pratha features actor Swaraj Barik, Sheetal Patra and Simran Kaur in lead roles.

The movie is directed by K Murali Krishna and produced by Sanlisa Patel who is debuting as producer with this movie. The movie is presented by her production house Sanlisa Signature Films. Fans will see see romantic hero Swaraj in a different role in the movie.

Simran Kaur is known for giving voice to the cartoon character Nobita in the famous cartoon show Doremon. Other notable roles in the film were played by Chaudhary Bikash Dash, Bobby Mishra, Yash Ahlawat, Ashu Sharma, Rabi Mishra, Satish Patel, Ilu Banerjee and others.

In the movie, several actors of Punjab and Delhi have also worked. The movie’s shooting was undertaken in several pockets of Odisha, including Koraput, Similiguda, Kotia, and Deomali. Some parts of the shooting were also done outside too like in states like Chandigarh, Haryana, Jaipur and New Delhi. The promotion is being handled by Creative Head and Media Planner Pranay Jethi, who said that movie would be released in Hindi and Punjabi language apart from Odisha
