Odia Film Bindusagar Released in 85 Theatres Across India

Bhubaneswar: The Odia film industry is increasingly being driven by a new generation of young talent, with emerging technicians and filmmakers bringing fresh energy and original storytelling to the screen.

In recent years, audiences have witnessed a series of successful films rooted in Odisha’s culture and soil, signaling a promising phase for Ollywood.

Continuing this trend, a young and talented team has now presented the new Odia feature film Bindusagar, which has been released in 85 theatres across India.

The film has been produced by Mumbai-based producer Shiladitya Bora, while young filmmaker Abhishek Swain has directed the project. The story has been written by Abhishek Das.

Bindusagar features a strong ensemble cast including Prakruti Mishra, Dipanwit Das Mahapatra, Satya Ranjan and Sonali Sharmistha. The film also includes performances by several noted actors such as Rabin Das and Jagannath Seth.

With a wide national release and a youthful creative team behind it, Bindusagar is expected to add fresh momentum to the growing Odia cinema movement.
