Marriage has not affected my career: Sradhanjali
Bhubaneswar: The much awaited trailer of Amiya Patnaik Production’s New Odia movie Trikanya, directed by Renowned national award-winning director, Anupam Patnaik waa released at city hotel recently. The movie will be releasing across theaters on Women’s Day – 8th March, 2024.
Trikanya comprises three unique narratives, each portraying a different facet of women’s lives. These stories explore themes of companionship, motherhood, and the complexities of marital relationships. Each tale unfolds with its own secrets and revelations, offering a glimpse into the emotional journeys of the women at their core.
The film features a stellar cast, including Barsha Patnaik, Manoj Mishra, Aman, Sradha Panigrahi, Partha Sarathi Ray, Nishanth Majithia, Sukant Rath, Nivy, and Sijan Mohapatra.
The film tells story of three women characters and their journey in their lives.
One of the characters is played by talented actress Sradhanjali Panigrahi.
Sradha gained popularity when she ended up as the runners-up on the popular dance reality show Mitha Mitha Jodi, along with her dance partner Rajesh Panda on Colors Odia. She made her acting debut in director Srikant Gautam`s Mitha Mitha (2017). The movie is Gautam`s directorial debut, a break from the usual lyricist that he dons.
She also did several TV shows such as Ama Ghara Laxmi, in Tarang , Mo Dehe Bolide To Deha Kala for Manjarti Tv and Khusira Ra Chunka at Zee Sarthak which made her popular among tv audience.
Talking to Odia Celebrity, Sradha said that the director Anupam approached her for the role. The story is written by Manash Padhihary whom she blindly trusted so when she heard that he wrote the story she agreed to be part of the move, she said.
Talking about her character ,Sradha said, ” As you can see in the trailer my character is in a complex relationship where I am in a marriage where my husband does not trust me and even beats me,”
At this juncture she met Partha’s character who loves her a lot and care. What decision Shradha will take is the story. The story is based on the urban phase and touches the subject which is happening in the urhan sector, she said. All three stories showcase different problems faced by the women population.
About director Anupam said, she that Anupam is one of new young generation directors who understand what the audience wants and as his father was also an eminent filmmaker he understands how to work with actors and get good acting from them.
Sradha recently tied the knot with composer Sandeep Panda. About marriage, Shradha said that it’s a wonderful change in her life.
” I believe that change is beautiful. I don’t see any problem in work after marriage and in fact my in laws and husband fully supported me,”
Sradha is also a new producer under her banner Shardhanjali entertainment which produced the movie Dasama which did well at the box office. Shradha said that she used to write some short stories and had done one movie for Manjari tv. When one of the producers of the movie Dasama Deepak Jena approached her she loved the story and decided to produce it.
She said that she will produce more movies in future which have good stories. She will even produce and starred in the movie in future she informed. She also has plans to work with her husband in some projects.
