‘Man Mora Kagaja Gudi’ Set for Television Premiere on Zee Sarthak on May 24

Bhubaneswar: Amid the many transformations in Ollywood and Odia entertainment over the past two decades, some stories continue to leave a lasting emotional impact. One such romantic drama, ‘Man Mora Kagaja Gudi’, is all set to premiere on Zee Sarthak on May 24, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

As suggested by its title, the film draws a poetic comparison between the hearts of its lead characters and a free-spirited paper kite, symbolising love, freedom and emotional journeys.

The story revolves around a young man whose life changes after the entry of a simple, outspoken and mature young woman. Despite their contrasting personalities and lifestyles, love brings them together.

However, misunderstandings, emotional conflicts and unexpected twists become the defining elements of their relationship, forming the core attraction of the film. The movie’s romantic soundtrack has also resonated strongly with younger audiences.
Produced by Shiva Kumar Parida and Lakshmipriya Parida, the film is directed by Debajyoti Patra, while the story has been penned by Manas Padhihari and Dibyasingha Ray.

The film features performances by Rakesh Deo, Bhumika Das, Aishwarya Behera, Pritiraj Satpathy, Biren Mishra, Tapi Mishra, Mamata Das, Guddu and Gyan, whose performances had earlier won appreciation from audiences during its theatrical run.
The film’s songs were also widely popular. Under the music direction of Japani Bhai, the soundtrack has been rendered by celebrated singers including Kumar Bapi, Human Sagar, Udit Narayan, Ananya Nanda, Ruturaj Mohanty, Deeptirekha Padhi and Jyotirmayee Nayak.
