‘Karma’ set for World Digital Premiere on AAO NXT from October 21

Bhubaneswar: After creating box office magic across Odisha, Superstar Anubhav Mohanty’s starrer “Karma”, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik, is all set for its world digital premiere on AAO NXT on October 21.

Announcing the streaming date, AAO NXT wrote: “The wait is over! Odia blockbuster Karma starring Superstar Anubhav Mohanty is all set to make its World Digital Premiere from October 21 only on #AAONXT. Get ready for an unforgettable story of action, destiny & power that will keep you hooked till the very end!”

Released on October 9 last year, Karma created history at the Odisha box office, opening with a massive ₹37.90 lakh on Day 1 and grossing ₹3.01 crore in its first week.

In the film, Anubhav Mohanty portrays Amar Patnaik, the head of a Special Investigation Team racing against time to crack a high-profile murder case amid mounting challenges. The film features an ensemble cast including Suryamayee Mohapatra, Divya Mohanty, Manmay Dey, Sanoj Kumar, Nishant Majithia, and Chaudhary Jayprakash Dash in pivotal roles.

One of the film’s biggest highlights is its hit track “Chiring Chiring”, sung by Humane Sagar, written by Manoj Kumar Panda, and composed by Ashish Pradhan.

Produced under the banner of Amiya Productions, Karma marks the first collaboration between Anubhav Mohanty and Anupam Patnaik. The film is jointly produced by Barsha Patnaik and Anupam Patnaik, with story, screenplay, and dialogues by Manas Padhiary, and additional dialogues by Nishant Majithia.
