KARMA 2 Script Ready, Anupam Patnaik Confirms Sequel

Bhubaneswar: A new chapter in the Karma universe could soon be on the way, with National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik confirming that the script for the much-awaited sequel, KARMA 2, has already been completed.

During a detailed interview with the Thala Buddy YouTube Channel, Patnaik revealed that the script for KARMA 2 is ready, raising expectations among fans of the popular Odia film.

Directed by Anupam Patnaik and starring Anubhav Mohanty, Karma emerged as a major success in Odia cinema and received considerable appreciation from audiences. The film’s gripping narrative and treatment helped it create a strong connect with viewers, while Mohanty’s performance added to its appeal.

The film also marked an important collaboration between Patnaik and Mohanty, making the possibility of their return for a sequel particularly exciting for fans. However, details regarding the cast of KARMA 2, its storyline, production schedule and release date are yet to be officially announced.
