Bhubaneswar: On the third evening of ‘Wonder Fest 2025’ organized by OSME, the full team of “Gangs of Puri” participated.
An exhibition was celebrated during Wonder Fest 2025, organized by OASME.
On the third evening, the popular OTT web series “Gangs of Puri” was promoted, with the presence of actors KK, Soma Hota, Ankita Mohanty and Priyambada as special guests.
On the second evening of the fair, the cast and crew of the Odia film “Ananta”—slated for release on June 12—promoted the film. The event was graced by Ananta aka Sabyasachi Mishra, lead actress Suryamayee Mohapatra, director Sabyasachi Mohapatra, veteran actor Prithviraj Nayak, actor Tapas Sargharia, and the film’s creative head for media and publicity, Pranay Jethi.
Over 50 children dressed up as Ananta characters and had a great time on stage. The visitors not only enjoyed shopping but also savored traditional cuisine while being immersed in the Ananta-themed celebrations.
The three-day Wonder Fest 2025, held from June 6 to 8, was officially inaugurated by Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Mrs. Surama Padhy. She emphasized that the fest aims to promote entrepreneurship, culture, and innovation with a special focus on women-led MSMEs and startups.
The event witnessed the presence of many dignitaries, including Gokula Nanda Mallik, Minister of Fisheries, Animal Resources Development, and MSME (Independent Charge), Government of Odisha; P.K. Gupta, Joint Secretary-cum-Ho, MSME-DFO, Government of India; Kamaljeet Das, Joint Secretary, MSME Department & Chief Administrative Officer, Startup Odisha; Prabodh Mahanti, Director of Operations, SNM Group; Satwik Swain, General Secretary, OASME; Adikanda Raut, Joint Secretary (Finance), OASME; Jyotirmayee Mahanti, Chairperson, OASME Women’s Wing; Pratishruti Jena, Chairperson, OASME Khordha District Chapter.
Minister Gokula Nanda Mallik highlighted the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting Odisha’s MSME and startup ecosystem. He mentioned that over 376 startups have been supported since the current government was formed and announced that a dedicated MSME park for women entrepreneurs is under active consideration to empower and serve women-led enterprises in Odisha.
OASME General Secretary Satwik Swain praised the active partnership between the central and state governments for MSME development and reiterated OASME’s commitment to serve as a strong bridge between the government and the entrepreneurial community. P.K. Gupta appreciated OASME’s Women’s Wing for uniting various departments with a shared goal through the Wonder Fest initiative. He stressed the importance of intellectual property rights and urged MSMEs to safeguard and leverage them.
Prabodh Mahanti, Director of SNM Group, encouraged entrepreneurs and stakeholders to fully utilize platforms like Wonder Fest and pledged his continuous support. He congratulated OASME for its leadership in advancing the MSME sector.
Kamaljeet Das remarked, “We will explore all possible means to work closely with OASME in effectively implementing government schemes and benefits for MSMEs by leveraging OASME’s extensive entrepreneur network.”
Summarizing the festival, Pratishruti Jena, Chairperson of OASME Khordha District Chapter, said, “This event is by women, for women, and of women.
