South star Akkineni Naga Chaitanya had pinned his hopes on director Venkat Prabhu’s Custody, which also marked his Tamil debut.

However, the film, which was released in theatres last week, turned out to be a disappointment at the box office.

Reportedly, the film has got negative word of mouth, and since then it has been seeing a gradual decline in collection ever since it released in theatres.

On its sixth day at the box office, the film earned less than Rs 1 crore in India, which is staggeringly low.

Despite completing six days in theatres, Custody is still yet to hit the Rs 10 crore-mark in India.

It could be said that the film is heading towards a flop.
