Bengali star Rupsha Mukhopadhyay is in love with Odisha

Talented Bengali actress Rupsha Mukhopadhyay who has done many Bengali movies, including Ke Tumi Nandini (2019), Jannat and Anannya Saradiya (2022), and Horror Stories, among others, is here in Odisha to work on her new Odia movie RAM starring Arindam Roy.

 

Mukhopadhyay is part of a series of Bengali actresses who worked in the Odia industry. Mukhopadhyaya, who worked in the Odia movie To Akhire Mu in 2010 with Babushaan Mohanty, said that she is excited to return to Odia movies after so many years opposite Arindam Roy. The shooting of the movie started in Bhubaneswar.

Talking to Odia Celebrity, Rupsha said she feels blessed to work again in an Odia movie with actor Arindam.

About getting the role, Rashi said, “Makers are searching for a Bengali actress because they are also planning to release the movie in Bengal. So I auditioned for the movie and got the role. “

Mukhopadhyay said that her character is very strong, which attracted her to the role.

About working with director Ashok Pati, she said, “Many of my Bengali co-stars have worked with Ashok Pati and have praised his work ethic.”

About working with actor Arindam Roy who is also the producer of the movie, she said, “He is very cooperative and helpful and helps me a lot with script reading and modulation because of my lack of Odia fluency.”

Rupsha is part of the list of several Bengali actresses, such as Jhilik Bhattacharjee, Patrali Chattopadhyay and Rachana Banerjee who worked in Odia movies.

Rupsha said that she is getting so much love from fans after it was announced that she is working in the Odia movie Ram and they think of her as their own. She said that she had talked to Rachna and Jhilik many times and both appreciated the Odia industry.

About the experience of working in both Odia and Bengali, she said that she saw both industries as the same and saw no difference. She said that she wants to work in more Odia movies in the future.

Rupsa, who started her career in 2010, said that her career is like a roller coaster ride and learned a lot from her co-actors and director and still learning.
