Archita Sahu Joins Cast of Delivery Boy 2; First Look Revealed on Her Birthday

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia actress Archita Sahu, known for her stellar performances in critically and commercially successful films like Bou Buttu Bhuta and Pade Akasha, and who recently made her production debut with Ananta, has officially joined the cast of the much-anticipated Odia film Delivery Boy 2 — the sequel to the 2023 hit Delivery Boy.

The first look of Archita, who plays the character Pallavi, was unveiled by the makers on the occasion of her birthday on Sunday.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote: “The wait is over. This time, not one, but TWO Delivery Persons are here. Sailendra & Archita (as Pallavi) are ready to deliver surprises. On this special day, Happy Birthday Archita! Release date revealing soon… stay tuned!”

Earlier, the production team had also revealed the first look posters of Buddhaditya Mohanty and Sailendra Samantaray, who are reprising their lead roles from the original.

According to sources, the shooting of Delivery Boy 2 has been completed, and the release date will be announced soon.

Directed by Aswin Tripathy and produced by Rojalin Mohanty, the film is presented by Infyson Entertainment.

The original film, Delivery Boy, released on April 7, 2023, followed the emotional and physical challenges of a young delivery boy. It starred Buddhaditya Mohanty, Sailendra Samantaray, Suryamayee, Priyambada, Shanti Baral, and Chaudhary Bikash Das.

With a fresh storyline, powerful new additions to the cast, and hints of a more intense narrative, Delivery Boy 2 is shaping up to be a gripping and emotionally resonant sequel that fans of the original won’t want to miss.
