Bhubaneswar: Following the extraordinary success of the film Ananta, the complete screenplay and dialogues of the movie have been published in the form of a book. The unveiling ceremony took place at Maharaja Cinema Hall in the presence of director Sabyasachi Mohapatra, actor Sabyasachi Mishra, dialogue writer Dr. Rajani Ranjan, actress Jyotirmayee Panda, and many invited poets and writers. The book has been published by Pakshighara Publications.
The film Ananta, based on the timeless story Randi Pua Ananta by legendary Odia writer Fakir Mohan Senapati, was directed by Sabyasachi Mohapatra and Kumar C. Dev. The dialogues were written by Dr. Rajani Ranjan.
Speaking about the main purpose of publishing the book, the director mentioned that those who did not get a chance to watch the film in theatres can read the book and feel as if they have watched the entire movie.
Each character in the film delivered outstanding performances that greatly entertained the audience. Even after three weeks of release, all shows are still running housefull. Viewers are deeply moved by the story of our soil, of the sacrifices of sons from our villages.
Audience interest in original stories is growing, as clearly seen through the response to Ananta.
On this occasion, notable personalities such as author Professor Sanghamitra Mishra, Dr. Sushama Mishra, Prabeena Mahanti, editor of Odisha Mirror Dillip Bishwal, fiction writer Arun Sahoo, Kshiroda Parida, Paresh Pattnayak, Sahadeb Sahoo, Kshiroda Das, Babita Tripathy, and Pakshighara editor Banoja Tripathy were present.
