‘Danger Devdas’ Official Glimpse Out, Promises High-Voltage Action and Entertainment
Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia action entertainer Danger Devdas have released the film’s official glimpse, giving audiences a first look at a world filled with action, attitude, emotion and entertainment.
Titled Danger Devdas, the glimpse introduces the film as a power-packed cinematic experience where, as the makers put it, “there are no rules, no limits, only danger.” The glimpse is designed to build curiosity around the film’s central character and its high-energy narrative.
Amlan Das leads the film in the titular role of Danger Devdas. He is joined by a large ensemble cast featuring Elina Samantray, Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, Papu Pom Pom, Aanisha Sharma, Bhupindra, Bobby Mishra, Susant Das Mohapatra, Sukumar Tudu, Aankit Kumar, Tapas Sargaria, Tushar Acharya, Kuna Tripathy, Bhawani, Sasmita Sahoo, Piyali Sahoo, Jayashree Sarangi, Gaurav Mohanty, Shankar Pradhan, Tiranga, Priti Ranjan Pradhan, Pankaj Mohanty, Anna Madhusudan Mishra, Ashutosh, Bishal and Amar Mohapatra.
The film is directed by Aswin Tripathy and is presented by Sai Lumbini Productions in association with Babu Bhai Production. The project marks the first collaboration between Aswin Tripathy and Amlan Das.
The film had earlier generated buzz with the release of its title and a special Independence Day poster carrying the line, “Freedom is in our hearts — and fight is in our blood.” The latest glimpse now takes the excitement a step further, positioning the film as a full-fledged mass entertainer.
The collaboration comes at an interesting time for both the director and the lead actor. Aswin Tripathy’s previous directorial venture Kangula performed well at the box office, while Amlan Das is currently enjoying the success of Shikar.
With the official glimpse now out, expectations are building around Danger Devdas, which promises to bring action, emotion and mass entertainment to the big screen. The film is slated for a 2026 theatrical release, with further updates expected soon.
