Bhubaneswar: Actress Trupti Mirambika has heightened excitement among Odia cinema fans by sharing behind-the-scenes (BTS) photographs from the sets of the upcoming film Dandakali on social media. The images, offering a glimpse into the making of the much-awaited project, have generated considerable buzz online and sparked curiosity about the film.

Trupti, who plays an important role in Dandakali, will be seen sharing screen space with some of the biggest names in the Odia film industry, including superstar Siddhanta Mahapatra, veteran actress Mahasweta Ray, Krishna Kar, Suryamayee, Ushasi Mishra and several other prominent artistes. Fans have welcomed the BTS images, expressing enthusiasm for the film’s unique theme and impressive ensemble cast.

Adding to her busy schedule, Trupti will also be seen in the upcoming film Mangalpur Diary opposite Amlan Das. Interestingly, that project is also being directed by veteran filmmaker Sudhanshu Mohan Sahu, who is currently helming Dandakali.
Presented by Rajashree Cine Crafts, Dandakali is being produced by Rajashree Ghosh and is based on the ancient Dandakali tradition of Berhampur. The film explores themes of faith, culture and heritage. The story has been written by Abhisikta Mishra, while the music has been composed by Prem Anand with lyrics by Dr. Nirmal Nayak and Bapu Goswami.
The film’s cast also includes Jayaprakash Das, Amar Mahapatra, Udit Guru, Elly Padhi, Chitrasen, Gurudev Maharathi, Pritiranjan and Nihar Samal among others. Notably, theatre artist Chitrasen is being introduced as a lead actor for the first time through the film.
With shooting currently in progress and BTS content regularly emerging from the sets, Dandakali continues to build anticipation as one of the most talked-about upcoming Odia films.
