Anubhav Mohanty’s ‘Chhaki Suna’ Set for Raja Release on June 12, New Poster Unveiled

Bhubaneswar: The buzz around Odia superstar Anubhav Mohanty’s upcoming film Chhaki Suna intensified on Thursday as the makers unveiled a striking new poster and officially announced its theatrical release date. The film is slated to hit screens on June 12, 2026, aligning with the festive celebrations of Raja festival.

Sharing the poster, the makers teased fans with the line: “When he arrives… the screen speaks. Chhaki Suna is coming to celebrate this Raja with you.” The visuals suggest a vibrant, mass entertainer crafted to match the festive mood of Raja.

The film had already created a strong buzz earlier when its first teaser was released on the birthday of Anubhav Mohanty by Amara Muzik. The teaser quickly gained traction online, with fans flooding social media with excitement and messages, marking it as one of the most talked-about Odia film announcements in recent times.

Debut Direction, Ensemble Cast
Chhaki Suna marks the Odia directorial debut of noted storyteller and dialogue writer Manas Padhiary. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Sambhabana Mohanty, Abhisek Panda, Divya, Udit Guru, Sukumar Tudu, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Santu, Umakant, Raka, Nitu Singh, Bijayini Mohanty, Jitu Mangaraj, Bhakti, and child artist Shreyanshi.

Produced by Naveen Bhandari and Jagrati A. Mohanty under the banners of Amara Muzik and Two Nine Films, the film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Deepak Kumar, editor Rashmiranjan Das, and sound designer Shaktiswarup Dwibedi. VFX is handled by Log Lean Studio, while Deb Jyoti serves as co-director and Shubham Mohanty as co-producer.

Following the success of films like Karma and Charidham, expectations are high for Anubhav Mohanty’s return to the big screen. With a festive release window, fresh storytelling, and growing fan anticipation, Chhaki Suna is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Odia films of 2026.
