Chakranta Begins Streaming on AAO NXT Today After Successful Theatrical Run

Bhubaneswar: After a successful run in cinemas, popular Odia film Chakranta has officially made its digital debut on AAO NXT today, April 29, offering audiences a fresh chance to watch the much-talked-about movie from the comfort of their homes.

The film, which was released in theatres on February 27, received a positive response from viewers and drew attention for its socially relevant storyline and engaging narrative. With its OTT premiere, the makers are now expecting the film to reach a wider audience, including Odia viewers living outside Odisha and across the globe.

Starring Bhoomika Dash and Subhasish Sharma in the lead roles, the film marked the first on-screen pairing of the two actors, which emerged as one of the key attractions during its theatrical release.
Headlined by Bhoomika Dash, Chakranta follows the journey of a young woman who leaves home in search of education and career opportunities, only to face temptations, negative influences and unexpected challenges.

The story reflects on strained relationships, overlooked parental sacrifices and the life-changing impact of personal choices.
Directed by Pinu Nayak and produced by Saurabh Padhi, the film blends social realism with suspense and conspiracy elements, making it a gripping watch for audiences.

The supporting cast features Harihar Mahapatra, Chaudhury Jayprakash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Dharitri Khandual, Surabhi, Soumya Satapathy, Shubham Padhi, Suman Mahanty, Kusum Tripathy, Pramod Raut, Tushar, Umakant, Niranjan Nirua, Punyatoya Mishra and Krishnarani Dash, along with a special guest appearance by Ashrumochan Mahanty.

The film wil also have its world tv premier at Zee Sarthak channel on May 3.
