Shooting of Odia Action Film Monster Kicks Off with Aaditya Mohapatra in Lead

Bhubaneswar: The action-packed Odia film Monster has officially gone on the floors, marking the next big project for newcomer Aaditya Mohapatra. After making his debut in 2024 with the romantic drama I Love You 2, Aaditya is now all set to showcase a different, action-oriented side on the silver screen.

The film’s title was revealed during the recent Ganesh Puja celebrations last year, generating excitement among fans.

Adding to the anticipation, Aaditya has not only taken the lead role but also penned the story and screenplay for the film, making it a deeply personal project. Speaking about the project, Aaditya said, “The screen will never be the same again. We, the team of MONSTER, promise to take you all on a ride like never before.”

Produced by Debraj Bidhar under the banner of Gopinath Motion Pictures, the film will be directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo, who also directed Aaditya’s debut. Shooting of Monster started this January, with a grand theatrical release planned for 2026.
