Shooting of Anubhav Mohanty’s New Film Chhaki Suna Begins on Dussehra

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited Odia film Chhaki Suna, starring Superstar Anubhav Mohanty, went on floors on Thursday with a grand mahurat ceremony coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.

Sharing the exciting update along with pictures, the makers posted: “Lights, Camera, Action! The shoot of Chhaki Suna has officially begun!”

The event was graced by Anubhav Mohanty, Divya Mohanty, Abhishek Panda, Jagruti A. Mohanty, director Manas Padhiary, and several others from the team.

Earlier, on Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers had unveiled the film’s title with the announcement: “On this Ganesh Chaturthi, as new beginnings are blessed, we proudly unveil the title of our next Odia Flix – CHHAKI SUNA – starring the one and only Superstar Anubhav Mohanty! Get ready for a golden journey that starts today!” The reveal had sent fans into a frenzy.

Touted as a high-octane entertainer, Chhaki Suna is a collaboration between Amara Studio and SM Entertainment, in association with 29 Two Nine Films. The film is helmed by writer-director Manas Padhiary, with Naveen Bhandari, Jagruti A. Mohanty, and Suvam serving as producers.

While the storyline is being kept under wraps, the tagline “No Escape” hints at an intense, action-packed narrative filled with gripping twists and high drama. With Anubhav Mohanty leading the charge, expectations are running sky-high for what promises to be a milestone in Odia cinema.
