Bollywood Stars Rohit Roy and Kanika Mann Join Odia Sequel Ram Rajya

Bhubaneswar: In a grand event held recently in Bhubaneswar, the makers of Ram Rajya officially announced the star-studded cast of the much-anticipated Odia film. Directed by celebrated filmmaker Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo and produced by Pritam Kumar Sahu under the banner of Anasmish Productions, Ram Rajya is the official sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Katak: Sesha Ru Aarambha.

The film will feature Bollywood actors Rohit Roy and Kanika Mann, alongside Prem Parijaa of Commando fame, Abhishek Panda, and Poonam Mishra in key roles. For Prem Parijaa, this marks his big-screen Odia debut in what promises to be an ambitious action drama.

Sahoo, known for acclaimed films such as Bhaunri, Mayabi, and Katak, has described Ram Rajya as a “massive action extravaganza Odisha has never seen before.” The first schedule was recently completed in Kolkata, with sequences shot at the iconic Ganga Ghat, and the production has now shifted to multiple locations across Odisha.

The original Katak ended on a gripping cliffhanger, leaving audiences eager for continuation. With Ram Rajya, Anasmish Productions aims to expand that universe with bigger scale, intense drama, and high-octane action.

The cast announcement event in Bhubaneswar has already created a wave of excitement among fans, with director Sahoo further fueling anticipation through regular behind-the-scenes updates on social media.
