Bhubaneswar: In exciting news for Odia cinema lovers, Zee Sarthak is set to bring the television premiere of the popular horror-thriller film ‘Adrushya’ on May 31 at 6:30 PM.
The film promises a gripping blend of suspense, horror, mystery and a deeper message on karma and consequences.
Produced under the Maa Gayatri Films banner, Adrushya revolves around the themes of karmic justice and a mysterious invisible force. The story follows seven friends who travel to Daringbadi, often referred to as the “Kashmir of Odisha.” Trouble begins on their return journey when their vehicle breaks down and a Maoist road blockade forces them to seek shelter at a tribal hostel deep inside a forest.

As the suspense unfolds, the film raises a compelling question — are the events driven by supernatural forces or the inevitable consequences of human actions? The mystery is revealed in the film’s climax.
Speaking about the movie, Rahul Rao, Chief Channel Officer of Zee Sarthak, said, “We always strive to offer Odia audiences entertainment along with meaningful messages rooted in life’s realities. ‘Adrushya’ is not just about fear and thrill; it also explores human actions and their consequences. We believe the entire family can sit together and enjoy this engaging film.”
The film has been written, directed and scripted by Satya Narayan Sahu, while Sunanda Sahu has produced the project. The soundtrack has been composed by renowned music director Malay Mishra, with lyrics by Arun Mantri and Satya Narayan Sahu.
The film stars Abhishek Giri, Lipsa Mishra and Sayal Mukherjee in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Jeevan Panda, Rajesh Agrawal, Neelamani, Pradeep Devata, Aravinda Jena and Kusum Tripathy.
