‘Mantra Muugdha’ Completes 25 Days, Team Celebrates Success with Audiences Across Theatres
Released without a festive window or superstar backing, the film emerges as a surprise blockbuster
Bhubaneswar: Acclaimed Odia film “Mantra.Muugdha”, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik, has completed a successful 25-day theatrical run, marking the occasion with celebrations alongside audiences across various cinema halls.

Released on May 1, the much-discussed Odia film has continued its strong box-office performance, emerging as a major success without the backing of a mainstream superstar or festive release window. Now in its fourth week, Mantra Muugdha is reportedly witnessing packed theatres, with nearly 30 cinema halls running housefull shows.

The film has not only received an overwhelming response in Odisha but has also attracted appreciation from audiences outside the state. Within just 25 days of release, the movie has recorded impressive earnings and set new benchmarks in the Odia film industry.

To celebrate the milestone, actors Sanoj, Sarthak, Manmay, Dipanwit, Nishant and producer Barsha Patnaik, along with the entire cast and crew, interacted with moviegoers and marked the success of the film.
Social media platforms have also been flooded with praise from viewers. While some described Mantra Muugdha as a “super-duper hit”, others hailed it as one of the most entertaining Odia films of the year.
The film’s music has been composed by five music directors — Ashish Pradhan, Anurag Pattnaik, Anurag Panda, Sangit Pattnaik and Romiyaz Pradhan. Deepak Kumar’s cinematography and the use of advanced visual effects (VFX) have also drawn appreciation from audiences.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik, Mantramugdha has been praised for its unique concept and storytelling, striking an emotional chord with viewers. The makers credited the film’s success to the collective efforts of producer Varsha Patnaik, executive producer Gopal Chandra Ghadayi, media planner and publicity head Pranaya Jethi, and associate Khageswar Jaipuria.
With audience enthusiasm continuing to grow, the makers are optimistic that Mantramugdha will maintain its momentum and entertain moviegoers during the upcoming Raja festival season as well.
