Want to work in movies till my last breath: Lipsa

Bhubaneswar: Talented Odia actress Lipsa Mishra, who has done many Odia movies, including Maya, Pilata Bigidigala, Tokata Fasigala, Adrushyam, Trushna, and others, is ready with another new Odia movie, Kemiti A Samparka. The film is directed by Chandi Parija. It stars Lipsa along with Akash Das Nayak and Elina Samantaray in the lead roles.

Lipsa Mishra is an actress who started her career as a Television actress through Kichhi Luha Piejae Otha on Tarang TV. She got the chance through a reality show called Big Break by Tarang TV. In 2015, she debuted in Ollywood through the Odia film Maya. She has also played different roles in Odia serials on Zee Sarthak, MBC TV, and Tarang TV.

Lipsa has done over 30 Movies, TV Series, and Music Videos in Odia and Hindi. She also won the Zee Sarthak Sansar Award twice. Her notable films include Pilata Bigidigala (2015), Maya (2015), Samaya Bada Balban (2016), Tokata Fasigala (2018), 4 Idiots (2018), Queen (2019) and Adrushyam (2020).

Talking to Odia celebrity, Lipsa said that she is excited about her new movie Kemiti A Samparka, saying it is a movie about relationships between people, and that is the main theme of the story. “Director Chandi Parija sir is known for making all characters in his movie alive. I was excited to work with him in this movie,” she said.

In the movie, Akash Das Nayak and Elina also playing leaf role. Lipsa said she had worked with Akash Das earlier also, and it was a lovely experience working with Akash sir.
About Elina, Lipsa said, “Elina is a very dear friend of mine and we both had the same journey as we both started our careers from reality shows. So it was great fun to share the screen with Elina.”

Lipsa is the cousin sister of actress Poonam Mishra, and as per Lipsa, she is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses. Lipsa said that she gets all the support and love from Poonam. “She had started her career before me, so her experience and guidance helped me a lot,” she said.

About her future, Lipsa said, “I admire veteran actress Mahasweta Ray, who is still making movies at this age.  Like her, I would like to do more good roles till my last breath.”
