Urfi Javed Joins 15th Herbal Holi Celebration in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Popular Indian television actress Urfi Javed arrived in Bhubaneswar on Monday to attend the 15th edition of the ‘Herbal Holi 2026’ celebration organised by Swapna Pati Foundation, where she participated as the main attraction of the event.

The actress received a grand welcome at Biju Patnaik International Airport by foundation members, organisers and fans.
This year marks the 15th edition of the foundation’s Herbal Holi campaign, which is being organised with the support of Lavinswood International Private Limited.

The main objective of the programme is to spread awareness about celebrating Holi without chemical colours and to promote an eco-friendly and skin-safe festival. The campaign has been running since 2011 with the message — “Protect your skin from chemical colours.”

The event was held on March 2, 2026, from 4 PM to 10 PM at Sandy’s Tower in the capital city. Participants celebrated Holi using only natural colours made from turmeric, sandalwood, multani mitti, neem and beetroot, promoting a safe and environment-friendly way of playing the festival.

Apart from Urfi Javed, the event also featured performances by Bollywood singers Shahzad Ali and Shabab Sabri, along with actor Ajaz Khan, who entertained the audience. Popular Ollywood artists Subhashish Sharma (Montu), Suryamayee Mahapatra, Priyanka and Rishi Pattnaik also presented cultural performances, while DJ Ayush kept the crowd engaged with music throughout the celebration.

More than 2,000 guests, including prominent businessmen and dignitaries, attended the festival this year. According to the organisers, Herbal Holi is not just a celebration but a social movement promoting health, culture and a safer environment.
