The untold story of Similipal to be showcased in ‘Shimli’
Bhubaneswar: Odia audience now wants to see realistic and true stories on the big screen. Not only from Bollywood or Hollywood but from odia films too.
At one time, people used to dislike Odia films because of their stories. But now again people are interested in watching Odia films thanks to some recent good movies released in cinema halls which did well and was appreciated by audience .
Continuing that tradition a new odia movie titled Shimli : The Untold story of Similipal which will tell the story of animal poaching and tree cutting in Similipal forest.
The film title, which was announced by makers recently will tell the story of how despite all law and rule the illegal poaching and tree cutting is still happening in Similipal and how it will be stopped.
The movie is produced Smita Rout who also wrote the story and directed by Sukumar Mani. The star cast of the movie will be declared soon said makers.
The films music will be composed by Bachu Mukharjee, Bishnu Mohan Kabi and SB Smruti. The cinematography will be done by Dhrubabanada Panda and art direction by Ganesh
