Riyadh: The Indian Embassy celebrated Diaspora Week- Pravasi Parichay 2023, from October 31 to November 7 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The “Pravasi Parichay” event in Riyadh saw an impressive display of India’s rich cultural diversity during the “State Days,” a three-day extravaganza. Representatives from 12 Indian states came together to highlight their unique cultural heritages.
During the state day celebration Odisha flavour was also seen in full flow. Odisha mesmerized the audience with its cultural performances including graceful Odissi dance, Sambalpuri Folk dance and Modern Folk dance. Odisha also won everyone’s heart by mouthwatering cuisine & display of handicrafts & art of the State.
The Indian Ambassador to Riyadh, Dr. Suhel Khan was present at the event. He was felicitated by Pravasi Odisha members Saroj Kumar Panigrahi and Debasish Rout.
On the occasion Indian Ambassador Khan appreciated the performance of Odisha artists and urged the Indian diaspora to actively participate in the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign. His call was met with an overwhelming response from the Indian and Odia community, who showed their unwavering support.
