Suryamayee Mohapatra Adds Second State Film Award to Her Name

Bhubaneswar: Actress Suryamayee Mohapatra has added another prestigious honour to her growing list of achievements by winning the State Film Award 2024 for Best Supporting Actress for her acclaimed performance in the Odia film Delivery Boy.

The award marks yet another milestone in Suryamayee’s career, reaffirming her reputation as one of the most versatile performers in the Odia film industry. This is her second State Film Award, having earlier won the prestigious honour for her performance in Dalcheeni.

Adding to the celebrations, Suryamayee’s latest film Ashram has been adjudged the Best Film at the Odisha State Film Awards 2024, making it a memorable year for the actress. The film, featuring veteran actress Mahasweta Ray alongside Suryamayee Mohapatra and Abhishek Giri, received widespread appreciation for its powerful storytelling and performances.
